Before anyone starts criticizing!! @_@; This is my first ever, I repeat, FIRST EVER, attempt on trying the vicious PEN TOOL!!! O_O No jokes. And...er..yeah. God, I was squealing when I did my first stroke with it... o__o;;; LOL!!! :XD: Okay, yeah, I know I'm slow, forgive me. ^^;

This...is a result of jealousy, actually. ^^; From these two jealousy-boosters... >.>;

I'm still trying to get a hold of this tool. :P I ripped the final result to 4 different layers and pasted it up there. :XD: LEMME ELABORATE!! ^^ (metal-chains appeared and chained you to your chair) LISTEN TO ME~!! :D

Layer 1 = FIRST EVER PEN TOOL RESULT. O_O EVER!! SO EXCITED! XD I'm so happy on how it turned out!!! ^^ A little faded, but...this gives me experience on using the tool. :D

Layer 2 = SKIN! I suddenly thought of Kris's WIP Kaichi character(AWESOME SKIN TONE), and this crap is born. o_o; A little darker than its supposed to, 'cause I thought I'm gonna do a background and it'll make her skin looks brighter, buuut...eh...got lazy with the bg. ^^;

Layer 3 = HAIR! AWESOME pen-tool practice, I swear. o_o; This is where my love for that evil tool suddenly blooms. XD I never coloured hair before actually...and I just wanna try some pen-tooling, and...ew, Kara have grey hair... @_@; Was trying to make shine and shadow but...geh...failed. :cries:

Layer 4 = Eh, I got lazy in this layer. XD And..uh..yeah, this turned out. ^^; Pretty easy to detect my sudden sloth-attack, eh? XD

Note: Frankly, this is supposed to be a random girl. @_@ Just for pen-tooling training, but she looks so much like my adorable Kara-chan...only older...and dark-skinned. ...Wait, she could be me in anime form with longer hair!!! :XD: And uh...the gradient-colored bg thing, just realized it existed seconds before I wrote the date. XDDD

And what the heck is crisper? XD (opens wordweb) Clearly defined...? @_@ Wha?? I just selected the...stimulate pressure thing when doing the stroke paths... @_@; You can do that too, dood. x__x;;;

YESHH!!! Pen tool DOES have me inside its nasty fingers... (is trying to tame it) :XD:

Butbutbutbutbut!! Your lineart looks so much cleaner! Like, straight, and not lumby like mine! XD Lmao Unlike on your lineart, I can easily tell where there are mistakes on mine, so I only ever focus on those parts Lmao-- (buuut.. I guess that's just because I was the one who drew it, so i already knew where I'd made mistakes XD lol!)

Just beware! :o The pen tool is hard to tame! I'm still working on it D8! It's betraying me at the moment though! Lol It's a loose cannon, it seems. Does what it wants when it wants.

Yeeeess, it'll be so close.... Or perhaps, it already is. O________O
